Hey, this is my "Strange Behavior" entry, thanks a lot for many friends in this challenge who give me many comments and helps.

it's also the hardest work I have done so far, because it's so many characters here, and I did lots effort on the people's facial expressions, movement, and the way they interact with each other.

the story is: a servant was trying to pour a glass of wine for the king, but the mischievous goddess from the wall painting crack a joke on him by rising his hand and pour the wine onto the king's head. The servant was terrified and didn't know why this happened and what to do, the others terrified too and hurried to get out of the way, because they knew -- he is dead for sure....

Transformer-Death Blow

Hi everybody, long time no see.

This work is invited by a China Magazine- , the theme of August issue - . I named it --< Death Blow >. And after, I altered some details again.

I image that: MEGATRON High above the explosion and jumps out from the heat, lunging at OPTIMUS PRIME with a Crackdown. OPTIMUS PRIME is preparing to face the attack, he is skidding forward, resulting the flake on the ground and raising his fist, and going to give the destroyer a Death Blow�. , The purpose of the composition is to create a complete frame filled with dramatization.

Waterfall castle

I want to create a setting with more fantasy feel, and to present the final result with matte painting style. I wish to create buildings with a mixed style of Middle Age castles and Middle Eastern culture, The ideal lighting design is towards sunset.

First I create a color draft, Then I maked a 3D model of the castle.The composite pictures are chosen from the references I collected before,and I selected the desired pictures of rock and rapid stream after I have finished the color sketch, putting them together piece by piece.

You Cheat

I wanted to create that, in a chaotic market, there are four thugs gambling, and one of them gets caught cheating with cards hiding in his sleeves. But actually, the other three people are cheating too!

I collected lots of references about the setting and characters from movies and others, and asked my friends to take some pictures of people. In the process the poeple's poses had been changed a lot. The settings were also changed twice, mainly between European and Middle Eastern style. The light and atmosphere were also fine tuned for a long time.

I spend more than a month to complete this idea.Hope you like it.suggestion and advice is welcome,thanks.

I want to create a chinese style field,a huge sculpture in a mountain wall,there is a rapid under it.It's close the declining sun.

I found some refernces of sculptures and buildings,and found the atmospher and shading reference from the other movie ,and asked some one to take photo for the sculpture's shading refernce.

A part material of the mountain wall is composed.

I hope to design a setting of a chinese style inn, with some people fighting in it,like in the movies.

I collected the references of the the man on left and the beard man from movies including "fearless" and " Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon "

And than asked my friend to be my model and took some photo,In order to truly capture the lighting, shading and the wrinkles of the clothes.

Hi every body:
My conception is to create a Europe architecture by myself--A Baroque ballroom with skylight. An old gentleman invites a little girl to dance,the four sculptures in the near happen to look at them joyfully.It is warm and joyful.

At the beginning, I built a basic 3D stage in order to paint over it and get the right perspective. I painted all the materials with Wacom in Photoshop, including the marble finishings, lights, and all the surrounding decorations.

All materials I painted myself except for the orginal 3D model and the floor texture

I collected references of the old gentleman and the little girl from movies including "The Titanic" and "The Russian Ark". I picked out three different pictures to be the girl's main referencing materials for the angle of the head, facial features and shading. Since there are tones of references, I only use the ones that are close to my representation

In order to truthfly capture the lighting, shading and the wrinkles of the clothes, I have made photographs of real people as a source of reference.

I found the references for the two sculptures in the near distance. The modeller on the side making the hand gesture was myself. These references will be used to combine with the original sculpture, of which should be looking at the two main characters with joy. so I must correct it.

I have changed the hair on the male sculpture in back on the left, as different from the reference.

The references for the four guests were collected from movies as well. The materials of the two women, one with the golden dress on the left and one with the white dress on the left, are quite different, which took me some time to make the research.

The process of this piece of work is a long journey, it took me a few months to complete it.

Girl Chasing

Hi everyone:
this picture is telling a guy tring to chase a gril by playing
a magic card game in the very fine atmosphere, his brooch on his
chest and the hotel behind him emphasis his purpose, therefore,
the card game is just a way for him to get closer to the girl.
i draw out my idea on the paper, and go look around the place
that i want to put inside my drawing, For example, a coffee shop
then i invite my two friends to be my model. Unfortunatly, when we
arrived to the coffee shop, there are already two couples taking away
our sit that we want to took picture with, therefore we spend a little
time to please them to move to the other sits. This is not forcing is for ART~!!!
after finished taking the photo, i choice the parts i want to use for my drawing,
like hands, pocker and the background, then i combined all the elements that i have to
my picture reference. then i spend about a month to complete this idea.
hope everybody will enjoying looking at them.
